Vorrka was distilled seven times before they were allowed to exist. In the Crystalline Tundra, where temperatures drop below absolute zero (which shouldn't be possible, but the Tundra doesn't care about your physics), purity isn't a goal — it's a religion. Every spirit born there goes through multiple rounds of filtration, each one stripping away another layer of pretense until only the essential self remains. Most spirits find this process traumatic. Vorrka found it liberating. "Do you know how much energy people waste on being something they're not?" they ask, their voice as clear and cold a
